As the longest highway in Germany, the A7 highway forms a major north–south transport route linking Scandinavia with central and southern Europe. Via Niedersachsen carries passenger traffic alongside heavy freight flows, moving across northern Europe, making it one of the most important logistics and mobility arteries in Germany.
