New momentum
The acquisition of Northwest Parkway in 2024 represents VINCI Highways’ largest transaction in North America. Located within the fast-growing Denver metropolitan area, the corridor occupies a premium position on the regional beltway. Its traffic-risk, fully free-flow profile fits VINCI Highways’ core expertise, providing a long-term platform to strengthen operational performance and support the area’s sustained growth dynamics.
Enhanced operational performance
Integration into our operating model has already begun to deliver improvements. Customer service activities, previously outsourced, are now integrated and managed through our subsidiary ViaPlus. We have also implemented a peak and off-peak pricing structure designed to accomodate rising demand and maintain balanced traffic conditions as the area develops.
Running on Colorado sun
VINCI Highways has accelerated the Parkway solar program with new installations now covering approximately 75% of operational energy needs, with a clear pathway toward full coverage.
Strong cooperation with first responders
The Parkway works daily with regional police departments and the North Metro Fire Rescue District to ensure rapid incident response and operational continuity, particularly during Colorado’s winter conditions. Support for community initiatives and safety programs reflects our long-term commitment to protecting both drivers and the professionals who serve them.
Opening our doors to share how we operate
We actively engage with regional and industry partners, opening the Parkway to share how we operate and how the corridor supports the wider mobility system. Through technical visits, media exchanges and operational demonstrations, we provide direct insight into our winter preparedness, energy strategy and day-to-day management of the corridor.
Promoting an exceptional territory
The Parkway serves a territory defined by its natural beauty and quality of life. We have refreshed its brand identity to reflect this landscape while enhancing the corridor itself through new pollinator habitats along the right-of-way, developed with Butterfly Pavilion, a local ecological nonprofit.
VINCI Highways, long-term partner of US road mobility
In the US, we operate strategic projects including the Ohio River Bridge P3 and tolling services in California, Texas and Georgia. Northwest Parkway strengthens our footprint, reinforcing VINCI Highways’ role as a long-term partner to US road mobility.
