Alfonso BARONA

Executive Director, North America

Alfonso Barona is Executive Director North America of VINCI Highways. He oversees business development in the United States and Canada, as well as the performance of the regional portfolio, comprising five concessions and PPP projects. Since his appointment, the portfolio has expanded with the acquisition of Northwest Parkway and its integration into the VINCI Highways operating model.

He joined VINCI Highways in July 2021. He has more than 30 years of international experience in infrastructure development, M&A and finance across North America, Europe, Australia and Latin America. Before joining VINCI Highways, he held several senior positions within Ferrovial.

He holds an MBA from IESE Business School and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from ICADE E-2. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
