A strategic network for business and mobility
Entrevias operates two major toll highway sections crossing the State of São Paulo, connecting the agricultural regions of the interior with the country’s main logistics and economic hubs. The network links Minas Gerais to Paraná while serving major cities such as Ribeirão Preto and Marília. It supports both dense regional mobility and large-scale freight flows, particularly linked to Brazil’s powerful agribusiness sector.
Key facts
- Traffic-risk concession with ARTESP, São Paulo State Transport Regulatory Agency
- Around 38 million toll transactions per year
- The largest duplication works in the State of São Paulo
- Weigh-in-motion serices
- AI in operations
- Full-scale climate resilience study
Expanding capacity where it matters
Entrevias is delivering one of the most ambitious works programmes in the State of São Paulo. Our investments include lane duplications, upgraded interchanges and modernised infrastructure to accommodate the growth of regional mobility and freight transport. Once completed, these upgrades will significantly increase operational performance and enhance safety.
Supporting Brazil’s freight powerhouse
Entrevias plays a key role in the logistics of São Paulo State, particularly for the transport of agricultural products such as sugar cane, grains and ethanol. To support these heavy flows, we deploy advanced services for truck drivers such as weigh-in-motion systems. Combined with dedicated freight management measures, our tools ensure smoother traffic and more reliable journeys for cargo operators.
AI already on the road
Entrevias is among the first highways in Brazil to integrate behavioural AI into daily operations. A network of AI cameras detects risky driving behaviours as they occur, enabling faster and more targeted prevention actions in partnership with the highway police.
Building climate resilience
Entrevias has conducted the most comprehensive climate risk assessment across the VINCI Highways network. It now uses AI-powered smoke detection and satellite monitoring of soil temperatures, improving early detection and enabling faster interventions.
A strong social purpose
Our teams are actively engaged in local social initiatives, with one emblematic project being our seed nursery, where we cultivate plants to revegetate highway right-of-way areas. Our nursery operates with the participation of workers with disabilities, combining environmental action with social inclusion. This initiative reinforces the concession’s connection with the communities it serves.
Home to an remarkable biodiversity
Entrevias crosses areas rich in wildlife within the Atlantic Forest biome. Our wildlife crossings allow animal movement and protect species such as ocelots, pumas and capybaras while reducing collision risks.
A growing VINCI Highways footprint in Brazil
VINCI Highways operates a 1,200 km network in Brazil with two concessions, Via Cristais and Entrevias, which both play a national role for mobility and long-distance freight. They present complementary challenges, enabling VINCI Highways to activate operational synergies, share expertise and offer teams opportunities across the network.
