Linking destinations and experiences

Highways are powerful communication platforms to promote regions. We leverage this reach by showcasing destinations and cultural heritage like in Slovakia, where we developed a tourist map highlighting experiences accessible from Via Pribina highway. In Peru, Lima Expresa extends this approach by supporting local entrepreneurs, helping small businesses strengthen their visibility.

Celebrating regional uniqueness

At every contact point with drivers, we showcase regional know-how and local craftsmanship. We bring sense of place to service areas by integrating regional food and products into our commercial strategy. In Colombia, along Via Sumapaz, we created local markets enabling businesses from nearby towns to sell directly to drivers. These initiatives enrich the travel experience while generating sustainable opportunities for local entrepreneurs.

Community engagement is an integral dimension of how we work. Designed locally and grounded in real social needs, our programs are carried out with local partners and VINCI Foundations.

A decade-long commitment in Slovakia

Our Foundation Via Pribina has supported local communities for over a decade. Its initiatives promote education, inclusion and assistance to vulnerable populations along the corridor, working through partnerships with schools, NGOs and local associations.

Via Esperanza, humanitarian action at the heart in Colombia

Via Esperanza is a humanitarian aid area along the Bogotá–Girardot corridor supporting migrants fleeing Venezuela’s crisis. The initiative has assisted over 45,000 people with the support of Colombia’s National Infrastructure Agency, Red Cross and other major partners.

Empowering youth through sport in Lima

Lima Expresa has long been committed to youth inclusion programmes. Initially developed through Rugby Para Todos, the initiative now focuses on football, with Club Universitario de Deportes. Sport becomes an inclusive tool for for the many young people in Lima.

Supporting moments that matter

Beyond their economic role, bridges and highways are part of the public landscape. At key moments, they become gathering points and symbols of collective identity. VINCI Highways supports major collective events, from hosting the Olympic flame relay on the Rio–Antirrio Bridge to welcoming the Terry Fox charity marathon on the Confederation Bridge. In these moments, infrastructure serves a purpose that goes beyond transport.
