Belén Marcos oversees VINCI Highways’ strategy, development, operations and global performance. Under her leadership, VINCI Highways has accelerated its development in major markets, strengthening its presence in the United States with the acquisition of Northwest Parkway, entering the Brazilian market, where it has become a major highway operator, and expanding its tolling activities worldwide through ViaPlus. She has driven the company’s transformation into an integrated highway operator, improving its network through major construction programmes, operational optimizations, innovation and increased synergies between concessions.

Belén Marcos joined the VINCI Group in 2020 following 20 years with the Ferrovial Group. She is a member of the VINCI Group Coordination Committee and the VINCI Concessions Management Committee.

She holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and a postgraduate degree in transport infrastructure from the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées.
