We deliver projects through a structured partnership model with local contractors. We select in-country construction companies for their technical expertise, local integration and ability to mobilize skilled workforces. This model combines VINCI Highways’ program management and international standards with strong local execution capacity. It has supported major projects such as Patras–Pyrgos in Greece and underpins the upcoming Via Cristais program in Brazil.

CHALLENGING GROUNDS
Working in complex geologies
The modernization of the Bogotá–Girardot highway illustrates our ability to deliver in extreme geological conditions. This mountainous corridor crosses the Andes, with steep altitude differences and highly complex soil structures. VINCI Construction mobilized advanced earthworks expertise to stabilize slopes sustainably and secure long term availability, while maintaining traffic throughout construction.

Building while traffic moves
On the Entrevias and Via Cristais networks in Brazil, VINCI Highways delivers large-scale duplication and rehabilitation works along several hundred kilometers. These strategic corridors must remain fully operational for daily mobility and freight transport. Works are carefully phased, with close coordination between all stakeholders and continuous user information to ensure safe coexistence between traffic and construction.
CITY-CENTER DELIVERY
Expanding infrastructure in dense urban environments
In Lima, one of the world’s most densely populated capitals, VINCI Highways delivered and opened a new highway section to relieve urban congestion. Construction took place in immediate proximity to residential areas, requiring precise coordination and strict environmental and safety standards. This performance was achieved with local partners, supported by experts from VINCI Construction and VINCI Energies.

DIGITAL TWINS
Integrating construction into long-term performance
The D4 Via Salis highway in the Czech Republic is a landmark project. As the country’s first road PPP, built by VINCI Construction, it is also the first transport project delivered with a full BIM model. Developed during construction, this digital twin will be maintained throughout the 25 year concession period, supporting maintenance and acting as a single, reliable reference.
OPERATIONAL READINESS
Deploying smart systems from Day One
The Patras–Pyrgos extension of the Olympia Odos highway adds 75 kilometers of new capacity in Greece while setting new technological standards. It is the country’s first highway to feature fully automated tolling. As the program manager in the concession company with Greek partners, VINCI Highways managed these high performance systems during construction, ensuring future traffic fluidity and operational efficiency from the outset.
REMOTE WORKSITES
Keeping delivery on-track
In central Canada, VINCI Highways delivered the Regina Bypass under harsh sub zero conditions and in a remote environment. The project required tight coordination across a multi company consortium and strict schedule control. It demonstrates our ability to deliver large scale projects on time.
